ISLAMABAD, Sept 22: Mrs Fatima Maqbool Bhatti, wife of former Pakistan ambassador to China and columnist Dr Maqbool Ahmed Bhatti, died at Al-Shifa Hospital here on Sunday, family sources said.
She was 76 and leaves behind her husband, four sons, Khalid Bhatti, Tariq Bhatti, Saad Bhatti, Asad Bhatti and brother-in-law Faiz Ahmed Bhatti to mourn her death.
Her funeral prayers will be offered at F-7/1 mosque on Monday at 6pm. The funeral procession will be taken out from her residence, house No 7, Street 35, F-7/1. She will be laid to rest at Islamabad Graveyard.
The late Fatima, a social worker and literary figure, was admitted to the Al-Shifa Hospital some days ago and underwent a surgery. But due to post-operation complications, her condition deteriorated and she died at 10.50pm.
