SKARDU, Sept 22: A bomb explosion in the garage of a house destroyed a jeep at the Keris village, Ghanche district, 32kms east of here. No casualty was reported.

The bomb was planted in the jeep of Peer Syed Mohammed Shah Al Musavi, a spiritual leader of Noor Bakhshi sect in Baltistan — which ripped through the garage, destroying the vehicle at night.

Another explosive device was also found from the site. Nobody has claimed the responsibility.

In another incident, a house was gutted in Aastana village.
