Rs4m for Bhalwal college

SARGODHA, Sept 19: A sum of Rs4 million has been earmarked for the construction of a multi-purpose auditorium during the next financial year at Government College, Bhalwal, besides setting up a science laboratory to commence B.Sc classes.

This was stated by district Nazim Malik Amjad Ali Noon while speaking at the inaugural ceremony of 2,600-ft long boundary wall of the college.

He said literacy rate in the district was very low and the government wanted to raise it by using all resources at its disposal.

He urged students to concentrate their attention and use their energy to achieve modern knowledge.

Later, Mr Noon inspected the 35-year-old dilapidated building of the college. A sum of Rs1.95 million have been earmarked for the renovation and repair of the building.
