HUB, Sept 13: The election tribunal of Balochistan on Friday dismissed an appeal filed against the acceptance of nomination papers of Pakistan Muslim League (QA) leader Jam Mohammed Yousuf for PB-44 Lasbela-I.

Balochistan National Party (Mengal) candidate Mohammed Usman had submitted an appeal with the tribunal requesting it to disqualify the PML-Q candidate alleging him to be a loan defaulter.

The election tribunal, comprising Justice Fazalur Rehman and Justice Amanullah Yaseenzai, dismissed the appeal after hearing both the parties and up held the decision of the returning officer accepting the nomination papers of the PML-Q candidate.
