ISLAMABAD, Sept 9: Pakistan and Iran have signed a Security Information Exchange Programme to strengthen their ties, Interior Minister Moinuddin Haider said.

“We have signed the programme in the different security sectors with Iran, boosting each other’s security,” he told APP on Monday.

He explained that according to the plan, which had been signed during his recent visit to Iran, civil armed forces, anti-narcotics forces, police and interior establishments of both the countries would share the information with each other “to strengthen the stability of each other’s country.”
