PESHAWAR, Sept 7: The Peshawar district bar association has demanded of the government to take practical measures for the implementation of the Juvenile Justice System Ordinance, 2000.

In a press release, issued here on Saturday, the president of the association, Sher Afgan Khattak, remarked that making laws for juveniles would be useless unless the rules were implemented in courts.

Mr Khattak called upon the judges to provide speedy justice to the juveniles against whom different cases had been filed. He also urged them to decide the cases as soon as possible.
