HYDERABAD: Convicts call off hunger strike

HYDERABAD, Sept 5: Two convicts in the Daniel Pearl case, Ahmed Omer Saeed Sheikh and Adil Sheikh, have called off their hunger strike on Thursday, a jail official confirmed, requesting anonymity.

The official said that today Ahmed Omer Saeed Sheikh called off the strike following the outcome of his istikhara.
