LAHORE, Sept 2: The train march of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal will continue according to the schedule as no law or code of conduct issued by the election commission debars politicians from travelling through rail network.
This was stated by MMA’s deputy secretary-general Liaquat Baloch and information secretary Pir Ijaz Hashmi in their separate statements here on Monday.
They warned the government that if it attempted to rig the polls to project its favourite candidates or postpone the elections on any pretext, it would have to face the wrath of the masses.
They said East Pakistan had seceded due to political blunders of then army government and the incumbent military ruler must learn a lesson from it.
