QUETTA, Aug 31: The Anti Terrorist Court, Quetta-I, headed by Judge Abdul Ghiyas Nausherwani here on Friday released the leaders of Pak-Afghan Defence Council (PADC) after the withdrawal of cases by the government against them.

They had been charged with delivering the anti-state speeches after US attack on Afghanistan last year.

The references were registered against Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, Maulana Noor Mohammed, Anwarul Haq Haqqani, Abdul Qadir Looni and Maulana Abdul Ghani.—APP
