KARACHI, Aug 24: Dr Adnan Tariq gave a dazzling performance in All Collegiate Club’s (ACC) 54-32 success over Saddar Club in the pool-3 of Independence Day basketball championship at Arambagh Floodlit Court Friday night.
Demonstrating brilliant dribbling, passing and accuracy, Dr Adnan made the highest score of 34 in the event sofar to spearhead ACC to comprehensive victory.
ACC, a new club, mostly comprising of city doctors put a superior show with Dr Asad Latif scoring ten points to provide excellent support to Dr Adnan. Nadir Ali collected 12 points for Saddar Club.
DC Central Club chalked out a narrow 30-28 win over St.Lawrence with Asad Iqbal scoring ten points and Ammad Nazir contributing nine.
In another match Patrician Stars defeated their sister team Patrician Nets 54-38 with Aamir (16) and Darryl Fernendes (130 doing the bulk of scoring for winners. Jerry de Souza topscored for Patrician Nets with 15.
