KARACHI: One car, 10 bikes hijacked

KARACHI, Aug 21: One car and 10 motorcycles were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Wednesday, police said.

The car was stolen.

Five motorcycles were hijacked. Five others were stolen.

Police also claimed on Wednesday to have recovered three cars and eight motorcycles in the city.

ROBBERIES: Two robberies were committed in the city on Wednesday, police said.

Bandits robbed a Nazim’s house in North Nazimabad on early Wednesday morning.

Police said that five armed men entered the house of Shahid Ali, Nazim of UC-3, in sector 7-C in the police limits of Shahrah-i-Noor Jehan. The bandits held the family at gunpoint and got away with Rs12,000 and gold jewellery.

Two unidentified motorcyclists robbed Aslam of Rs10,700, a cell phone and a wristwatch. The victim works as a cashier in a private firm in Taimuria.
