ISLAMABAD, Aug 19: A Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) director-general and some other members of his family were robbed in front of their house in Sector F-6/4 early Monday morning.

DG Sarwar Hasan Khan, who resides near the office of Intelligence Bureau, told the police that he and his family had returned from his brother’s house in Sector G-10. It was past midnight. He was parking his car when two motorcycle riders appeared on the scene and held his son hostage at gunpoint.

He said the culprits took away gold bangles, Rs2,000 in cash, the keys of his car and his purse containing his National Identity Card and office card.
