The PML-N leader called on ARD president Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan on Sunday and discussed matters concerning the Monday ARD meeting and the general elections.
She told reporters that her party wanted to put up as many candidates as possible, and since the electorate still supported the exiled prime minister, most of the candidates would win their seats.
The central parliamentary board of the PML-N will be meeting in Lahore on Aug 22 to finalize tickets for the national and provincial seats.
The provincial boards will meet at their respective headquarters on Aug 20 and 21 to prepare recommendations for the central board. —Staff Reporter
