MARDAN, Aug 17: Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry  on Friday  condemned the arrest of an industrialist by the National Accountability Bureau and termed it harassment of businessmen.

In a press conference at the chamber’s office, MCCI President Haji Sultan Mohmand and members of the executive committee criticized the NAB authorities for the arrest of Haji Anwarur Rehman.

The leaders of the chamber said Haji Anwar had established tobacco industry in the province and he contributed billions of rupees to the national exchequer.
