DADU, April 4 Basheer Khan Qureshi was elected chairman of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz for two years in elections held in Sann on Saturday.

Dr Niaz Kalani was elected senior vice-chairman, Akash Mallah vice- chairman, Dr Safdar Sarki general secretary and Naeem Mandhro treasurer.

The elections were conducted by an election committee headed by Dr Haider Sindhi.

Basheer Qureshi and Akash Mallah were elected unopposed. A tough contest was witnessed for other posts.—Correspondent
