LAHORE, Nov 7: ARD president Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan said on Wednesday by extending overwhelming support to Afghanistan, the people of Pakistan had voted against the government.

He was speaking at a seminar arranged by the Difa-i-Islam Mahaz here at the Hamdard Centre. Gen Hamid Gul (retired), Dr Sarfraz Naeemi and Mufti Muhammad Khan Qadri also spoke.

The Nawabzada said the entire nation was protesting against America but the hearts of the rulers were with it (US). He also condemned the rulers of Muslim countries for supporting America. He said: “The time has come to revolt against them.”

The ARD leader said the Ummat was facing a hard time as anti-Islam forces had joined hands against it. Under these conditions, the Muslims must get united to foil all designs of anti-Islam forces, he said.

The Nawabzada said America had stepped on Arab lands under the pretext of Iraq war and was still there. It would also not vacate Afghanistan, rendering Pakistan’s border with Kabul unsafe.

Gen Gul said the US had lost the war in Afghanistan, and it would now try to escape from there but the Muslims would not allow it to do so.

He said it was being cleared on the world that the attacks on America were launched by Jews. Now, he predicted, the Jews and Christians would fight against each other.

Dr Naeemi criticized Maulana Samiul Haq for what he said giving a statement against the ideology of Pakistan.
