HYDERABAD, Aug: 13: The Sindh Agriculture Extension Project has announced that the grant of production loans to farmers through one-window operation is continuing and advised the growers to avail this opportunity for the current Kharif season.

A spokesmen of the project said here on Tuesday that several points for the one-window operation had been set up at union council level in Hyderabad district and adjoining areas.

The points have been established at Husri, Hatri, Sori, Moosa Khatian, Sawan Khan Gopang, Tando Qaisar, Karimabad, Wassan, Kubee, Chamber, Usman Shah Jee, Murri, Piaro Lund, Sultanabad, Tando Mohammad Khan, Digh Mori, Shah Karim, Mula Katiar, Moya, Lalo Mangwano, Palijani, Oderolal village, Oderolal station, Mohabbat Mari, Sekhat, Jaindal, Shahpur, Allah Dino Sand, Bhao Khan Pathan, Khando, Bhit Shah, Karo Khan Nizamani, Bhale Dino Kaka, Sadadabad, Boolari, Jamshoro, Khan Unnerpur, Lakha, Sunn and Lakhi.

The production loans up to Rs60,000 will be advanced at the rate of Rs4,700 per acre of paddy, Rs8,000 per acre of cotton and Rs11,800 per acre of sugarcane.

The facility of issuance of passbook and other verification process will be done on the spot to enable farmers to get loans in one day.

The one-window credit operation will be held at these points on every Tuesday and Wednesday, the spokesman said.
