KARACHI, Aug 10: The teachers and students of University of Karachi and the non-teaching staff on Saturday held a protest on the campus against the “indifferent” attitude of the varsity administration towards them.

They also held a protest demo at Karachi Press Club, under the banner of the Joint Action Committee to press for the acceptance of their demands.

The committee was joined in by other organisations, including college teachers and labour bodies.

They urged the Governor to intervene and stop the KU administration from adopting anti-education policies, and creating harassment among employees. — Staff Reporter
