SHEIKHUPURA, Aug 9: Three motorcyclists were killed on Friday in an accident near Barkatpura on the Jaranwala Road, some 38 kms from here.

Three people, including Younas and Kashif, were on their way by motorcycle when a Faizabad-bound bus (LHG-7920) at high speed hit them as a result of which they all died on the spot. The bus driver made good his escape.

Sharaqpur Sharif police are investigating.

SHOT DEAD: A man, Qasim Mehmud, was shot dead on Friday over an old enmity in a nearly Ghazi Minara village.

Saddar police have arrested accused Sarfraz and are going into the matter.
