Outstanding dues recovered

ABBOTTABAD, Aug 9: The tehsil municipal administration has recovered the outstanding dues from its defaulters, especially from the tenants in Lawyer Plaza and Sabzi Mandi.

Abbottabad TMO Waqas-ul-Hassan said the Abbottabad Municiple Committee had planned to get back the property from the occupants who were not paying regular dues and rent out to other interested parties through open offer, which, he said, would ultimately increase the revenue of Abbottabad District and generate additional funds for the city uplift.

He admitted that presently the municiple body was losing its heavy chunk of the revenue owing to litigation of most of the cases, otherwise it would have started many projects in the area.

MURDER ACCUSED RELE-ASED: The anti-terrorism court, Abbottabad, has ordered the release of three alleged murderers for the lack of evidence.

They had been arrested two years ago on the charge of killing eight people in Abbottabad District. The case was registered under Sections 302/34/148 and 149 at Mirpur Police Station.
