ISLAMABAD, Aug 7: The government is likely to finalize on Thursday the new list of life-saving drugs to be exempted from the levy of 15 per cent general sales tax.

Sources told Dawn that health ministry officials will brief Finance Secretary-General Moeen Afzal in this regard on Thursday.

The government exempted 256 drugs from the GST in
