WANA, July 31: Thirty employees of Government College Ladha, South Waziristan Agency, have not received their salaries for the last one year.
The affected employees of grade-IV have since been facing difficulties, sources said, adding that their families are at the point of starvation.
The employees told this correspondent said that the political administration had stopped their salaries because they were present at the place where a group of tribal people had staged a protest demonstration and blocked Ladha Road to press the administration for accepting their demands last year.
The employees threatened that they would commit mass suicide on the college premises if their salaries were not paid immediately.
KILLED: One person was killed on suspicion of spying on the Taliban and Al Qaeda men for the American forces in Wana on Tuesday.
The killer, stated to be an Afghan, was arrested by the locals and handed over to the political administration.
The accused told people that he had killed Mohammad Ali over enmity. Later, he changed his statement and told the investigators that the deceased was an American spy.
