HYDERABAD: July, 30 The Jeay Sindh Students Federation (JSSF), Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, has announced that it would observe black day on August 5 to protest against the inordinate increase in fees notified by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Hyderabad.

Talking to newsmen, JSSF leaders Noor Nabi Burdi, Dulha Derya Khan, and Lal Malhi said that the BISE was trying to deprive the poor students of their right to education.

They warned that if the increase was not withdrawn soon, they would enlarge the scope of their protest.

STUDENTS HOLD PROTEST: The students of the Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, on Monday staged a protest march from the DVM faculty to the Tando Jam Press Club against the kidnapping of a final year student, Dr Suresh Kumar.

Addressing the rally, Dr Naimat Ruk, Ali Mohammed Jamro, Mujahid Soomro, Owais Kashmiri and others warned the Hala administration that if the kidnapped student was not recovered within a week, they would enlarge the scope of their protest.

Dr Suresh Kumar was kidnapped from Hala town by some unidentified men a couple of days back.

SU DELEGATION: A delegation of the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, visited the Hamdard University, University of Karachi and the Daily Dawn, Karachi, on Monday.

The delegation visited preservation, clippings, reading and other sections of the Baitul Hikma Library of the Hamdard University. It also visited the department of library and information science of the university.
