ISLAMABAD, July 27: President Gen Pervez Musharraf has promulgated an ordinance to amended the General Clauses Act, 1897.

Under the General Clauses (Amendment) Ordinance, 2002, which shall come into force at once, all rules, orders, regulations and circulars having the effect of law made or issued under any enactment shall be published in the official gazette.—APP
