HYDERABAD, July 19: An official of the District Accounts Office, Saifullah Magsi, was shot and injured by two unidentified armed men when he offered them resistance in Tando Thoro on Friday.

Mr Saifullah was headed towards his home when the two armed men intercepted him and tried to snatch his motorcycle. He tried to resist them but the armed men opened fire injuring him.

The two men quickly snatched his motorcycle and escaped.

Mr Saifullah has been admitted to the surgical ward of the Civil Hospital.
