LONDON, July 19: British television channels on Thursday gave wide publicity to a police video showing three small boys pulling obstacles onto a railway line in a bid to derail a train.

Police said the children in the footage, taken on June 27 by a passer-by who saw them on a line linking Manchester and Liverpool, had been arrested but not charged as they were minors.

The passer-by alerted the police, who prevened a train from hurtling into the pile of bricks and carts.—AFP
