MANSEHRA, July 18: The 14 suspected militants detained in connection with the attack on foreign tourists were handed over to a joint interrogation team that shifted them to Peshawar under strict security cover on Thursday.

The detained workers of the banned religious organizations had been remanded for six days into police custody on Wednesday.

The police and other agencies are investigating the incident in which 13 people, nine of them European tourists, had received minor injuries.
