KARACHI, July 17: Off spinner Agha Abdi captured six wickets for 22 runs heled Zone V Whites to beat Pakistan Steel Colts by eight wickets in KCCA Inter-zonal Under-17 Trophy 2002 the second phase of KCCA annual talent hunt program here at Quaid-e-Azam Ground of Pakistan Steel Tuesday.

Batting first Pakistan Steel Colts were all out for 140 in 41 overs.

Akhtar Ali managed to scroe 38 runs with the help of 5 boundaries. In reply Zone V Whites reached the target for the loss of two wickets in 38.4 overs.

Adnan Muhammad hammered seven boundaries for his quick 51 runs and remained not out. Tariq Murad made 35 with the help of six boundaries and Muhammad Shafiq 35 included four boundaries. Right arm medium fast Sheikh Muhammad Ahmed and off spinner Zeeshan Khan took one wicket apiece for 32 and 34 runs respectively. Agha Abid of Zone-V Whites was declared Man of the Match.

At DHA Cricket Ground Zone II Whites defeated Zone-III Blues by six wickets.

Batting first Zone II Blues were all out for 105 runs in 39 overs.

Mohsin Sultan was the only batsman who resisted the opponents bowling attack, he scored 40 runs with the help of four boundaries and got good support from Abrarul Haq who made 17.

Right arm medium fast bowler Wajahat Farooq captured five wickets for 51 runs in 20 overs.

Right arm medium fast bowler Jamal Ahmed took two wickets for 32 runs in 16 overs.

In reply Zone-II Whites reached the target for the loss of four wickets in 30.2 overs. Syed Raheel scored 30 runs and Ibrahim Akhtar scored 16 runs. Wajahat Farooq of Zone-II declared Man of the Match.
