NAWABSHAH, July 17: The judicial magistrate raided the Qazi Ahmad police station and found one person in illegal detention.

Judicial magistrate Sohail Pervez, on the directives of Sindh High Court, raided the police station and found Ghulam Qumbhar Khokhar in illegal detention.

He released the detainee and directed SHO Allah Jurio Khokhar to appear in the court on Wednesday.

Imdad Khokhar, the brother of the detainee, told Dawn that police had raided his house in Gupchani and demanded Rs100,000 from his brother.
