LAHORE, July 8: The government and political parties should hold a dialogue to resolve differences on the proposed constitutional amendments.
“By sitting together both can find a consolidating point,” said PML-QA chief Mian Azhar while talking to elected representatives of local government institutions, former parliamentarians and party workers here on Monday.
Mian Azhar said the political parties had held talks with Ziaul Haq, Ishaq Khan and Farooq Leghari in the past, therefore, there was no reason for not repeating the same with the present government for the country’s interest.
He urged party workers to start election preparations by visiting every nook and corner of the country and assured the people that the past mistakes would not be repeated.
Azhar also expressed his grief on the death of Ravi Town Nazim Aftab Asghar Dar.—APP
