KARACHI, July 8: A local specialist in health education has been awarded a 13-week fellowship by Yale University of Connecticut, USA.
The university awarded Dr Rozina Mistry of the Aga Khan Development Network along with 16 other Yale world fellows selected from over 500 applicants from more than 100 countries.
Dr Mistry, who initiated as an obstetrician in the slums of Karachi, has developed new programmes in the management of childhood illness and diabetes, reproductive health programme.
