KARACHI, July 7: The Sindh Democratic Alliance has condemned the discriminatory and feudal laws against women and vowed to strive for equal opportunities for them in every walk of life.

Speaking at the party’s women workers convention held on Sunday at his residence, SDA chief Imtiaz Ahmad Shaikh said that the alliance would adopt policies to provide full protection and equal opportunities to women in every field including employment, health, education and other departments.

He said that the SDA would work to solve problems, particularly of women, at their door steps.

Local government minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim, vowed to make Karachi more clean and beautiful and bring it at par with other provincial capitals.

Former speaker Sindh assembly, Syed Jalal Mehmoud Shah, condemned the excesses against women in different parts of the country.
