PESHAWAR, July 2: The NWFP Drug Quality Board has approved sending cases against 72 people involved in sale and manufacturing of substandard and unregistered medicines to the drug court, a health department official said on Tuesday.
“We have decided to send cases against 72 people, including manufacturers of substandard drugs and the chemists selling unregistered drugs, to the provincial drug courts,” said the official. Cases against 27 manufacturers and 45 chemists would be sent to the drug court, he said.
