ICA makes new appointments

ISLAMABAD, July 1: The newly-elected office-bearers of the Islamabad Cricket Association (ICA) who met here have made several new appointments.

The meeting chaired by the association’s president Mohammad Ishaq Bhatti appointed Mohammad Aurangzeb Awan as the vice president while Abdul Rauf was named as the associate secretary. Wasiullah Khan and Raja Mohammad Sakhi were inducted on the executive committee.

After these appointments were made, the ICA executive committee held its first meeting and formed various committees to ensure cricket is smoothly run in the federal capital.

The following are the committees:

Tournament committee- Syed Abrar Rizvi (chairman), Nasir Iqbal and Ehsan Bhatti; discipline committee- Syed Abrar Rizvi (chairman) Raja Mohammad Sakhi, Abbas Shah; Grounds development committee- Syed Abrar Rizvi (chairman), Mohammad Azam, Tariq Khattak, Shahid Ali Khan; elections committee for clubs- Raja Mohammad Najeeb (chairman), Ajmal Sabir, Aamir Malik; constitution and rules committee-Dr. babar Awan (chairman), Syed Abrar Ali, Raja Mohammad Najeeb. The secretary of ICA, Irfan Manzur and associate secretary will be on all the committees.
