MUZAFFARABAD, June 26: Muttahida Jihad Council on Wednesday asked the foreign ministers of Muslim states, meeting in Sudan, to announce a trade boycott against India and Israel for denying implementation of United Nations resolutions on Kashmir and Palestine.

“The Muslims all over the world will feel satisfied if the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) works towards a common Muslim market, institutes a trade boycott against India and Israel and asserts its individuality,” said the alliance.

In a letter addressed to the OIC secretary-general, MJC chief Syed Salahuddin said: “Both India and Israel are mercilessly using brute force to crush the legitimate movements in their respective occupied areas and their nexus is an open secret.”

“The Ummah expects from the foreign ministers to ponder over the appalling and disgusting attitude of the powerful nations towards the state-sponsored terrorism in Kashmir and Palestine,” it said.
