KARACHI, June 26: President Karachi Press Club (KPC), Sabihuddin Ghausi, called on governor Sindh, Mohammedmian Soomro, at the new Sindh secretariat on Wednesday.

The president KPC apprised the governor of the grievances of the journalist community, particularly about the Hawksbay scheme.

The governor said that the matter was under process and soon steps would be taken to resolve the issue.

Mohammedmian Soomro also presented a cheque for rupees one million as donation to the KPC on behalf of the government of Sindh.—PPI
