SHEIKHUPURA, June 23: A local paper mill’s worker was burnt to death when he fell into the mixing plant while repairing its part here on Sunday.

Ghazanfar Ali, 30, was repairing a part of the mixing plant in the absence of some engineer. Touching one of its parts, Ali sustained electric shock and fell into the machine.

He was burnt and was taken to the District Headquarters Hospital where he died. Dawn learnt the DHQ hospital was without the facilities to treat burnt patients.
