WASHINGTON, June 20: An American woman reported missing in Karachi has turned up safe at a hotel, a US State Department official said on Wednesday.

“She has been found and is safe,” said the official, who asked not to be named.

The woman, who was not named because the State Department did not have a waiver under the Privacy Act, arrived in Karachi on June 13 and was reported missing in the last few days.—Reuters
