PESHAWAR, June 9: Former chief minister of the NWFP, Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao, has said that he would work for the betterment of the masses to restore their confidence.
Speaking to a delegation of Kohistan district at People’s House, he said he believed that unless the people’s grievances were redressed, the country would not prosper.
He told the gathering that the party would be re-organized on democratic lines.
On the occasion, a former NWFP Assembly member, Mohammad Omer Khan, joined Pakistan People’s Party (Sherpao).
Aftab Sherpao said the people were facing a critical situation and they needed a dynamic leadership and effective political party to remove their sense of deprivation.—PPI
