CHARSADDA, June 6: The NWFP directorate of secondary education has cancelled the registration of a number of private schools here for their failure to renew their registration.

The directorate, through a letter, directed the district executive education officer not to countersign the certificates of the schools.

The heads of government schools were instructed not to admit the students of those schools.
