LAHORE, March 26: Oil depots of major oil companies will be shifted from Faisalabad city to outskirts under a phased programme for ensuring public safety and pollution free environment.
It was decided at a high-level meeting held here on Tuesday, with Punjab chief secretary Imtiaz Masrur in the chair. Among others the meeting was attended by the Faisalabad Nazim, Secretary Industries, DG (Oil) and representatives of PSO, Shell, Caltex and Pak Arab Refinery. The meeting was told that the oil depots of the three main oil supply companies were located in the thickly populated areas of the city.—APP
