UNITED NATIONS, Feb 26: UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan plans to hold talks with Iraq’s foreign minister, Naji Sabri, in New York on March 7 on the possible return of weapons inspectors to Iraq, a UN spokesman announced on Monday.

Earlier this month Iraq offered to have a dialogue “without preconditions” after discussions with Amr Mousa, the secretary- general of the Arab League.

The last such talks were held a year ago.
