QUETTA, Jan 27: A young couple died in a local hotel due to suffocation on Sunday, police said.

According to police sources, Mohammad Zahid who had come from Hyderabad with his wife Zarina was staying in a hotel at Abdul Sattar road. They slept in the hotel’s room without switching off the gas heater and died of suffocation.

The police brought the bodies to the hospital, where doctors confirmed their death due to suffocation.
