ISLAMABAD, Oct 29: Pakistan Bar Council’s enrolment committee has allowed former judge Malik Mohammad Qayyum to resume his private practice as an advocate of the Supreme Court.

Malik Qayyum’s judicial career had come to end after the SC bench declared him “biased” on Benazir-Asif Zardari appeals against their conviction on corruption charges.

A meeting of the committee on Oct 27 considered 30 applications. It declared 10 applicants fit for being advocates of the SC.
