KARACHI: MBBS exam results announced

KARACHI, June 5: The University of Karachi on Saturday announced the results of Third Professional MBBS Annual Examinations 2004.

According to a press release, Muhammad Furqan of Dow Medical College obtained first position, Amber Akhtar of the same college came second, while Muzna Ateeq of Sindh Medical College stood third.

A total of 839 students registered for the exams, 837 appeared while 707 students were declared passed with a pass percentage of 84.47.

BCS exams: The Department of Computer Science, University of Karachi announced on Saturday the revised schedule for theory and practical exams of BCS.

According to a press release, the theory exams for Data Communications-2307 (semester-VI) will be held on June 21 at 9am, while theory exams of Linear Algebra and Differential Equation-1202 (semester-III) will be held on June 22 at the same time.

The practical exams of Digital Computer Logic-2201 (semester-III) will be held on July 1 at 9am, while the practical exams of Assembly Language Programming (semester-III) will be held on July 3 at same time.

EVENING PROGRAMME: The director admissions, University of Karachi has directed candidates whose names have appeared in the provisional list, to complete their admission process as soon as possible, said a press release on Saturday. Fees will be collected at the office of the director evening programme from June 7 to June 18 between 3.30pm and 6.30pm.

Meanwhile, applications for admission against donors seat would also be received from June 7 to June 10. The admission list in this regard would be released on Saturday. The entire admission process would be completed by June 18. Classes would commence from June 21. - PPI
