LAHORE, May 1: The PML-N leaders will formally invite all ARD leaders that they should join them in receiving their exiled president Mian Shahbaz Sharif on his return from London.
The invitation will be extended by a party representative at a meeting of the ARD here on Sunday.
According to the party's vice-president Binyamin Rizvi, the PML-N will organize a procession from The Mall to Lahore Airport. Raja Zafarul Haq will lead the procession.
Binyamin said in a statement that the former chief minister would be coming back to Pakistan during the next five days. He said the return could not be blocked on any pretext and the party would not let the government deport the PML-N president.
He said a government which had appointed a man with head money as the Sindh governor and inducted into the cabinet those wanted by the NAB had little justification for preventing Mr Shahbaz from coming back to his country.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy is due to be held at the Kot Lakhpat residence of Syed Munir Husain Gilani here on Sunday (today).
Makhdoom Amin Fahim, the alliance chief, will preside over the meeting which will discuss arrangements to receive PML-N President Mian Shahbaz Sharif on his return from London.
Before the ARD meeting, Makhdoom will exchange views with the party leaders in Lahore.
