MIRPURKHAS, Feb 4: Eidul Azha was celebrated with religious zeal here as people sacrificed animals. However, people faced hardships during Eidul Azha as power breakdowns occurred in different areas of Mirpurkhas.

Power failure occurred for four to six hours in the town which disrupted the water supply.

The affected areas included Lalchandabad, Gharibabad, New Town, Jamnadas Colony, Taurabad, Dholanabad, Adam Town, Pak Colony, Rajar Colony, Hirabad, Nai Para, Thamsabad, Hameedpura Colony, Mir Allah Bachayo Colony, Walkart area, Mehmoodabad, Panhwar Colony, Gulshan Colony, and Rahim Nagar.

When contacted, Hesco sources said that power failure occurred due to some faults.

KILLED: A youth, Mohammad Juman, died after being hit bycoach at Khipro-Hathungo road on Tuesday.
