Rs130m to be spent on uplift schemes

MIRPURKHAS, May 31: The district Nazim of Mirpurkhas, Pir Shafqat Hussain Shah Jilani, has said that the government has allocated Rs130 million under the Khushhal Pakistan Programme phase-III for Mirpurkhas district, while Rs12.6 million of them had been received.

In a handout issued here on Friday, he said that this amount was being spent on different development schemes of rural and urban areas of the district.

He further said that 10 different roads are being constructed at a cost of Rs86 million in different areas.

SACKED: The EDO (health) of Mirpurkhas, Dr Illahi Bux Soomro, has terminated Qaimuddin Mehar, vaccinator, taluka hospital, Kot Ghulam Mohammad, from services.
