KARACHI, March 12: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan said here on Saturday that the government is working for attaining and promoting alternate sources of energy, and various low-cost projects are being examined in this regard.

Talking to a Japanese delegation about wind-mill project, the governor exhorted the delegation to work by focussing on a concept plan, along with options like BOT, soft loan, etc., for its implementation.

This is an essential requirement of the province and the government would provide all possible cooperation in this regard, he assured.

Meanwhile, talking to a delegation of the Rice Exporters Association, the governor said that EXPO as an international event will be made annual feature of Karachi. The delegation was led by President KCCI khalid Firoz

The Governor issued necessary instructions to concerned authorities for allotment of a piece of land for the offices of Karachi Chamber.

He called for expediting

the formaities for handing over the management of Boat-

ing Basin park to Karachi Chamber.

He said it would be goodwill act of the Chamber for citizens of Karachi.—APP
