KARACHI: Languages exam results

KARACHI, March 7: Board of Secondary Education Karachi announced the results of Oriental Languages Examination 2004 on Monday.

According to the announcement, in Adeeb Urdu examination 46 candidates appeared, out of 55 registered. 41 students passed the exam, with a pass percentage of 89.13. Eight students passed got 1st division, 19 secured 2nd and 14 got 3rd division.

In Adeeb Arabi examination, the registered candidates were 642 out of them 554 appeared in the exam. 101 students got 1st division, 256 secured 2nd and 37 got 3rd division, while the pass percentage was 89.13. In Alim Urdu 14 candidates appeared in examination out of the 15 registered. Six students passed in 1st division, seven in 2nd division and one got 3rd division.

In Alim Arabi, registered candidates were 470 out of them 443 appeared in the exam. 139 secured 1st division, 178 got 2nd division and 341 got 3rd division. The pass percentage was 76.97.

In Fazil Urdu all the 14 registered candidates appeared in the exam. Six got first division, seven secured second division while 13 got third division. In Fazil Farsi two students appeared out of the three enrolled. Both students passed the exam in 1st division.

In Fazil Arabi 269 candidates were enrolled out of whom 258 appeared in the exam. A total of 191 passed, 35 passed in 1st division, 115 got 2nd and 14 secured 3rd division. -PPI
